April 24th Message From Mark Franks - President
This is the latest communication from PureWorks President, Mark Franks. This was sent to all distributors via email but just in case you did not receive it you can read the latest here. Dear Distributors:
Here are a few issues I would like to address:
Thanks for being part of our Pre-Launch. This is an exciting time and will be a great part of your story telling people that you were here from the beginning. We are making lots of progress and I was thrilled when a distributor told me that we are already much smoother than another direct sales company that has been around for over three years. I was also thrilled when an industry expert evaluated our compensation plan and told me that it was the best he had seen and had the highest payout and potential of all plans he had evaluated. We are hopeful that we are building a company with the right people and tools and that it will be a company that you will all be very proud to be a part of. Thanks for your continued patience as we work out the kinks and navigate through the learning curve. We are pleased that it has not been too painful thus far.
Communication:
We now have some excellent people who can help take care of any issue that you may have and we are anxious to work with you and get to the bottom of any issue. Our commitment is that we will have the best customer and distributor service in the industry - period. The experience of using the best germ killing products in the world would not be complete if we dropped the ball on the most important part which is taking care of the people who are making this happen….our distributors.
Customer Service:
We have empowered our staff to solve problems. Your concerns will be handled to your satisfaction and we will do everything in our power to take care of you. We will hire and train the best people available to handle you and your concerns in a timely and empathetic manner and simply stated we will never say that we can’t or that we won’t. Our upper management team will make calls to our distributors every day and we will gauge the effectiveness of our team and we will make any changes necessary to work with you. We are a hands-on management team and as such we make calls every day to help solve problems and work with our people. We will never stop doing this. We will always be in the trenches with our people and we want to hear from you. We recognize that we have the ability to make each of you an advocate or an assassin of the company. We refuse to let any one of you become an assassin for any reason and will do anything possible to deal with every situation in a quick and suitable manner. If you are currently frustrated because of unresolved issues I invite you to call me personally and allow me to help you get back that lovin feeling…
Marketing:
We will launch a massive growth campaign in May, June, July and August as we drive for our goal of 5000 distributors by September 1st 2006. We are calling this our “Drive for Five” campaign and we want to extend the following incentives to you….
-Any distributor sponsoring 5 new distributors (during May – August) will be invited to a special meeting the day before our launch meeting. We will be giving away trips and prizes for the top 5 distributors who sponsored the most new distributors. We will also raffle of a number of major prizes which will be announced the first of May. Five new sponsorships will get you one entry into the raffle and every additional sponsorship will qualify you for another entry. Twenty new sponsorships mean 16 entries. These prizes will include product, autoqualification (instant pass to the bonus pools) cash, travel, entertainment and even a new car (leased for one year). We will spare no expense in expressing our appreciation to those who help us achieve our goals. Get geared up and fill out your lists of contacts. This is going to be a lot of fun.
Meetings:
We want to hold meetings in as many cities as we possibly can, over the coming months. We recognize the need for our management team to be out with you and supporting you in your efforts to grow the company. If you have a desire to hold a meeting and to gather together as many potential distributors as possible we want to help. Let us know your desire and we will put a plan together that will entail notifying all distributors in your area and encouraging each to participate in an education/opportunity meeting. If we think that we can get 20+ potential distributors to attend we will make every effort to come visit and help you kick start your area. Just let us know. All meetings will be posted on the web site and we will also send our meeting schedules via email to help you coordinate meetings with other distributors. We will travel at our own expense.
Commissions:
Remember that PureStart commissions are really the first months Unilevel commissions fronted to you and paid out weekly. The idea is to get $$$ into your hands quickly to reward you for your efforts as a recruiter and sponsor. You do not receive PureStart bonus and Unilevel commissions in the same month. It would be impossible for us to pay out 45% PureStart and 45% commissions in the same month. We would go broke and so would you. If you sign up a person in the third week of March you will receive PureStart in the 4th week of March and then will not get a Unilevel commission check for April until the end of May. We pay all monthly commissions 30 days in arrears. The process is as follows: We have to end Marches commission term on March 31st and then during the first three weeks of April deal with cancellations, returns, and errors. In the last week of April we will calculate the Unilevel, Rebate, and Bonus Pool commissions and get them paid out by months end.
Known issues:
If you still do not have product let us know immediately. 99% of the time this is due to a bad credit card number or expiration date. The same goes for distributor kits. Call us and let us confirm the numbers, address, and profile information so that we can get you in the loop. Once we have good data there really isn’t much that can go wrong.
Because PureStart bonuses and all bonuses for that matter are tied to actual purchases we have had a few of you wondering why a bonus was not paid. There are several scenarios that will void out an order thus stopping your bonus. If a card declines for any reason you will not be paid until the card is accepted. If there are errors in the Autoship or an order was coded wrong the orders cancel and again no bonus is paid. If you have not received a bonus for one reason or another we can help you as we now understand how to research these issues and get them set straight. If you haven’t received a check please contact us and we will inform you what went wrong and make amends.
Sales Taxes:
By law we must tax you at the retail price even though we are charging you wholesale. In reality you are paying the sales tax for future retail sales on the day that you make the purchase. We then remit the sales tax to the various state and local government taxing authorities so that you don’t have to. When you make a sale you need to collect that tax and keep it as a reimbursement to you for paying it at time of purchase. You can avoid us taking out taxes at all if you get a tax exempt number. We will record that number and you will see sales tax zero out on each invoice.
Supply and Demand:
We have had overwhelming demand for our product line and as of today we have not had backorders. We have received our first batch of 4oz lotions in stock and they are officially available as of last week. We are working with several new manufacturing facilities over the next few months. We are allowing them to run a batch or two and we are testing them to see if they qualify to be potential partners with us. As in all new relationships we anticipate that there will be learning curves and problems that will have to be solved. All good relationships require a period of time where each participant learns the ropes. We do not foresee any issues immediately, but we may see our manufacturing process and even our ability to supply product vary over the next few months. We have overstocked product currently and hope to be safe through this process however in an attempt to keep you in the loop and let you see the processes we are going through we want to keep you up to date. We want at least three rock solid manufacturing facilities that are tried and tested as partners. As we scale up to meet the potentially soaring demand we want to be ready and of course our goal is to never have a backorder.
Remember:
-To check and clear out your holding tank every couple of days
-To communicate this email to all of your downline who do not have email addresses and encourage them to get email.
-To communicate any unresolved issues with corporate so we can help get them solved
-To allow corporate to approve all marketing materials and retail outlets
-To read our FAQ and learn our story so that you can make lots of presentations
-To work your distributor kit effectively. Listen to Earl and know that what he is teaching is absolutely true and that you have the ability to achieve anything that you put into your mind. Set goals and accomplish them.
-To teach your frontline three to teach three
-To protect yourself and family by using the product line as often as possible throughout the day. The more uses in your regimen the better your skin and healthier your life.
